The facilities of our hostel in Winterberg
Relax, party, work: We have adapted the facilities of our hostel in Winterberg to the various needs and requirements of youth groups and other group trips. No matter if you want to spend some time indoors during your school trip to Erlebnisberg Kappe in rainy weather or if you want to have a party at the end of your club trip: We have the right room for you.
On the first floor of our hostel Erlebnisberg Kappe there are five group rooms of different sizes. Three of the smaller ones can be combined into one large room by sliding away the partition walls. This room can accommodate up to 120 people. The largest single room is designed for 50 to 70 people and with its fireplace is especially popular during the cold season. Another single room can accommodate 30 to 40 guests. Depending on how many people you register for your group trip or class trip to Winterberg in the Sauerland, we will provide you with the right group room for your stay.
WIFI free of charge, conference equipment and beverage packages
Of course, each of our common rooms in Winterberg can also be used as a conference room or seminar room. Our free WLAN is available to you in the whole house. Our hostel in Winterberg is also equipped with professional conference technology, which we will be happy to lend you for your conference, seminar or workshop.

Switch off in the sauna or lounge, dance in the party cellar
Also on the first floor is our lounge, which you can use as a lounge next to your group room. Here you will find comfortable seating and books. There is a cinema feeling in our TV room, where you can also make yourself comfortable on cuddly seat cushions. For our very young guests we have set up a playroom with ball pool right next to the lounge. If you want to really switch off in between, you can sweat in our sauna and then dream a little in the adjacent relaxation room on one of the loungers.
Our party cellar is at your disposal for your get-together or graduation party. 40 to 60 people can celebrate in the rustic furnished room, a tap, a refrigerator and a music system are available for you.
To our public areas
The Hostel offers you a lot of sportive offers. If the weather is fine, you can use the basketball hoop, slackline, football pitch and summer curling. If the weather is not so nice, you can play a round of foosball, darts or table tennis. If you come to Winterberg for biking, you can safely park your bike in our lockable bike cellar. For smaller repairs you will also find a small selection of tools here. In winter the bike room becomes a ski cellar for your winter sports equipment. During the cold months you can also use our drying room. If you don't want to bring your own ski equipment, you can also rent it in our own ski rental.
