Why start with the class into the ski leisure time?
Out into the fresh air, off into the snow, enjoying nature in winter dress and then onto the ski slopes. Skiing is the best way to get active. It doesn't matter whether the kids are new to the sport or have already gained experience in winter sports. Skiing can be perfectly combined with school life and promotes both group cohesion and the individual development of each student. On skis, not only individual abilities are promoted, but also fears and limits are overcome, so that a positive self-confidence develops in the children and teenagers. The group excursion strengthens the class community through a shared learning experience. The class trip to Winterberg will be remembered for a long time and will have a positive effect on everyday school life.
Our services for your class trip in winter
- In 2- to 6-bed rooms with shower/WC on the floor for the students and double bed occupancy with shower/WC for the teachers
- Full board (breakfast buffet, packed lunch or lunch snack, warm dinner). Those who have seen enough snow will return to Hostel at noon for a snack, those who can't get enough will start their skiing pleasure in the morning with delicious packed lunches. Our kitchen will provide you with balanced and nutritious meals during your stay and will also be happy to cater for special requests, such as vegetarian or any intolerances.
- On request, the stay can also be booked with half board or breakfast only
- Each group uses its own group room according to the group size
- Ski rental directly at Hostel, or for example at the rental station Brinkmann am Käppchen practice slope
- Ski equipment complete with skis, boots & poles; helmet can be added on request!
- Ski depot and drying room in the Hostel
- If you receive from us on arrival according to the booked program or individual needs
Optional services
- On request we can arrange the ski school
- table soccer or table tennis tournament on your own
- Film night, disco fever included in the package (please bring your own films & music (CD or mobile)!)
- Torch-lit hike with roast bread and children's punch, plus 5.50 € per person
- With the ranger on a search for clues out into the winter world
- Drinks package from 4.90 € per person This includes mineral water, apple juice spritzer and a fruit juice drink for the entire stay as well as coffee & tea from 10:00 to 18:00 for the teachers.
